FROM CHINA

Eight months after attending our management workshop for Tuberculosis Hospital Leaders in Beijing, one of the participants wrote, in her own broken English:

"I felt stressed last year because of high pressure from work. After the Beijing session, every day I write down the most important things on paper and try to accomplish these things. I find almost every day I can attain the goal and this greatly improves my working efficiency. So this year my post-graduate medicine course has been finished and I got the master degree. Also because of my hard work, I got the chance as a scholar to visit global TB institute in the USA. I often hold short meeting in the ward. Brainstorm is so useful that my colleagues usually provide many good ideas to solve tough problems. We try to be creative in research work. By doing research I draw conclusion which has not been discussed before in China."
